January Project

****Our January and February Project for the Adullam House in Wetumpka was a success. Ann Casaday and her husband, Bro. Bill delivered all our supplies. This is an ongoing project with us. The supplies are collected and delivered periodically. Check out the Adullam House page for photos and information.

*Supplies for Adullam House

Adullam House is located in Wetumpka. It is a wonderful place where children of all ages live. These children are those of prisoners in Julia Tutwiler Prison who do not have anyone to care for them. We have been helping them for 3 years now.

We've had a baby shower, taken supplies and cleaned the gym and worked in their thrift shop.

APRIL MEETING INFORMATION

Carolyn Jones is the hostess for this month. Our project this month is collecting canned foods for the local First United Methodist Church Food Pantry.

Any canned food item, peanut butter, jelly, canned meats, packaged mixes (cornbread, muffins, etc.) are welcome!

Please join us as we learn and DO Missions.

PRAYER

Prayer is necessary for Missions. Prayer is grounded in God’s character, His Word and His Will. (See John 15:6 and Psalm 27:8) Prayer is not our asking God for things. It is God moving in us to pray for things that He wants to do. (Philippians 2:13) He wants to bring me to the place of being so at one with Him that I will only desire and ask for the things He wants.

Please continue to use your Prayer Calendar in the Mosaic. It is first priority that we pray for our missionaries specifically as Ann tells us.

Women on Mission Meetings:

I, President of our Women in Action, invite you to join us for Mission Study, We meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 9:30 am. Usually at FBC.

There are ladies from Bon Air Baptist, Mountainview Baptist, Cartersville and First Baptist Childersburg. You are wanted and very welcome. Come and see.
