Canned goods for Food Pantry at First United Methodist Church. This is a church-wide effort.

Here are a list of needs for the pantry:

Canned Meats Tuna

Vienna Sausage Potted Meat

Canned Fruit Mac-n-Cheese

Jif Cornbread Mix

APRIL MEETING INFORMATION

Carolyn Jones is the hostess for this month. Our project this month is collecting canned foods for the local First United Methodist Church Food Pantry.

Any canned food item, peanut butter, jelly, canned meats, packaged mixes (cornbread, muffins, etc.) are welcome!

Please join us as we learn and DO Missions.

PRAYER

Prayer is necessary for Missions. Prayer is grounded in God’s character, His Word and His Will. (See John 15:6 and Psalm 27:8) Prayer is not our asking God for things. It is God moving in us to pray for things that He wants to do. (Philippians 2:13) He wants to bring me to the place of being so at one with Him that I will only desire and ask for the things He wants.

Please continue to use your Prayer Calendar in the Mosaic. It is first priority that we pray for our missionaries specifically as Ann tells us.

Women on Mission Meetings:

I, President of our Women in Action, invite you to join us for Mission Study, We meet the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 9:30 am. Usually at FBC.

There are ladies from Bon Air Baptist, Mountainview Baptist, Cartersville and First Baptist Childersburg. You are wanted and very welcome. Come and see.
